Summer lentils



- 300 gr. Lentils
- Oil
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 2 medium-sized carrots
- 2 green peppers
- 2 medium-sized onions


Put the lentils, the bulb of garlic, the onion, the chopped carrots and the green, and a tablespoon of oil into an earthenware pan.

Cook it slowly on a medium heat.

Chop the remaining onion and the green pepper and fry them lightly in oil, preparing a sofrito.

When the lentils are almost cooked, add the fried onion and green pepper. Let boil for five minutes and let it stand for 5 minutes. Now the lentils are ready to be served.
