Spanish language culture course and Hispanic culture is a trimester language program abroad designed for those who want to have a broad view of Spanish civilization.

In addition to the 20 Spanish language lessons per week of the General Spanish course, you have 10 Spanish language lessons per week on contemporary Spanish civilization.

To take part in this Spanish language and Hispanic Culture course, you need a Low Intermediate Spanish Level(Level 4) before starting the language course.

The duration of Spanish and Hispanic culture course is 12 weeks (Trimester language program). You can choose this type of Spanish language course for your whole program abroad in Spain or part of it, if you are going to attend a longer Spanish course.

The course on Spanish culture and civilization is an overview of present-day Spain:

— Spanish geography and its political and economic influence,
— the Autonomous Communities within Spain,
— the natural regions in Spain,
— the Spanish folklore, customs and traditions,
— economic and social development in Spain,
— Spanish literature,
— Spanish History,
— Spanish art,
— Contemporary cinema and media in Spain... are just some of the topics studied in this Spanish and Culture course.

Spanish levels	From Intermediate Spanish level (Level 5) to Spanish Proficiency (Level 8).
Duration	12 weeks (Spanish Trimester program)
Spanish lessons per day	6Spanish language lessons per day learning Spanish: 4 lessons in a group learning General Spanish language and 2 lessosn learning Hispanic Culture.
Spanish lessons per week	30 lessons per week: 20 general Spanish lessons + 10 Hispanic culture lessons
Timetable	9:30 - 11:00 , 11:30 - 13:00 or 16:30 - 18:00, 18:30 - 20:00 Spanish classes are generally held in the morning. Nonetheless, depending on your Spanish level, you may have morning or afternoon shift classes (The school assigns the class timetable).
Primer día de clase	The first day of class you must arrive 15 minutes ahead of the regular schedule.
Age	Minimum age – 17 years old.
Students per group	Maximum of 7 and minimum of 3 students per group.
Requirements	A Low Intermediate level of Spanish (level 4) is necessary before starting Spanish and Culture course.
Notes	A minimum of 3 students of the same Spanish level is necessary to form a group. If no group is available in the requested Spanish course, the student will receive an individual Spanish course lasting fewer hours, plus additional tasks guided by the teacher at the resources center, until the total hours of the chosen Spanish course have been reached.
