Tennis Summer Camp Description for juniors in Spain (Alicante)
The trainees must have an acceptable level to compete, must be people usually playing tournaments or registered in a club.
The programme includes visits, trips and other activities, where the students will be accompanied by a group leader, and all the tickets for the museums, monuments and parks included.
There may be some changes in the programme or in the dates, depending on the festivities celebrated in the city and on the concerts and shows organised.
The distance from the School to the Sports Club is covered by trenet and lasts approximately 5-7 minutes. It is also included in the price.
The Spanish and Tennis Programme is organised during the months of July and August in a tennis club developing different types of tennis courses focused on a high frequency of training sessions -5 days per week-, with the main goal of establishing the acquired technical skills and of developing new ones.
All this is carried out by means of a methodology that has been awarded the prize for ‘the best tennis school in Spain’ twice by the Registro Profesional de Tenis.
The premises of the Tennis club in Alicante include:
* 60,000 m2 surface
* 21 tennis courts (17 clay courts),
* 2 frontennis courts,
* 2 football pitches -7 (clay),
* 4 paddle courts
* A cardiovascular and muscle-building
gym (200 m2 surface),
* A summer Olympic pool of 50 x 21 metres, and a second one for splashing. |
* A TV-room and a reading-room (both with access to a terrace),
* A room for board games,
* Café and restaurant.
* Sports shop Match-1,
* A children’s area * Parking |
The programme includes 7 hours of tennis lessons per week in the afternoon, from Monday to Friday. If the students want to, they can take part in tournaments organised by some clubs of the province (Elche, Villajoyosa…) and/or they can also do it in the club itself, that may organise 2 or 3 tournaments per month.
The trainer accompanies the students, if this option is chosen, and the trip is included.
The enrolment/registration in the tournament is not included: approx. € 20 per tournament. Zador’s students can use the pools and the gym too.
