Spanish indefinite adjectives
The form of indefinite adjectives in Spanish changes and it agrees with the noun and pronoun in gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural).
- algún*libro (a book), alguna persona (a person), algunos libros (some books), algunas personas (some people)
- ningún* libro, ninguna persona
* When alguno and ninguno precede a masculine singular noun, dropp the end and add an accent:
alguno - algún
ninguno -ningún
* When ningún, ninguno, ninguna follow a verb, the sentence preceding the verb is also put in negative form.
Examples
No hay ningún banco en esta calle.
No hay ningún problema.
No hay ninguno.
No hay ninguna farmacia por aquí.
