Spanish descriptive adjectives to talk about the age
Adjectives describe or give information about nouns or pronouns.
The form of adjectives in Spanish changes and it agrees with the noun and pronoun in gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural).
Usually follow the noun: la señora mayor es mi tía Carmen .
Adjectives for age:
joven - jóvenes
viejo - vieja - viejos - viejas
adulto - adulta - adultos - adultas
mayor- mayores
menor - menores
* * In many cases pequeño - pequeña - pequeños - pequeñas substitute the words mayor and mayores talking about age.
